AAC Delhi yellow pea

AAC Delhi is a semi-leafless, high yielding and powdery mildew resistant yellow pea line. In the 2015 – 2016 Field Pea Cooperative Registration Test over 25 station-years across Western Canada, AAC Delhi yielded 6% and 14% higher than the check cultivars Agassiz and AAC Peace River, respectively.

Main strengths:

  • Improved yield compared to the yellow check varieties
  • Larger seeds than the check varieties
  • Higher protein content than the check cultivars
